Fuel Price Rises to N1,270/L as NNPCL Hikes Rate by N115 in Abuja
Retail outlets of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited have adjusted the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit in Abuja and its environs. The rate has jumped from N1,155 per litre to N1,270 per litre, marking a N115 increase. Other marketers have also raised their prices. Some NNPCL and MRS stations in the capital are currently closed amid the change. This is the second petrol-price hike by depot owners and marketers within a week and follows Dangote Refinery’s move to sell refined products in dollars.
