Tinubu’s Foreign Trips: Why Is the Presidency Dodging Obi’s Simple Question?

The presidency has avoided explaining the real benefits of President Tinubu’s foreign visits. Instead of detailing investments, new factories, trade deals or jobs secured, a senior advisor attacked Peter Obi’s record in office. Peter Obi simply asked: What did Nigeria gain? Did we attract any investments, technology or industries? Will there be more jobs? Those are practical questions for a nation battling inflation, unemployment and insecurity. Rather than answer, the response focused on the company Tinubu kept abroad, implying that wealthy companions alone guarantee national prosperity. Nigerians deserve clear evidence of how these trips will improve their lives.

What evidence can the presidency show to prove Tinubu's foreign trips secured real investments, factories, or jobs for Nigerians?

Do you mean you want details on actual factories established or specific employment numbers from those trips?

Dodging Obi's question and attacking his record tells me they have no real answer on tangible benefits from those trips.

They shouldn't hide behind political attacks when voters deserve clear details on job creation and trade outcomes from those visits.

Let's demand they publish a breakdown of agreements, projected investments, and expected job figures, so we can hold them accountable.
