Yaya Touré Appointed Slovan Bratislava Head Coach in First Senior Role
Yaya Touré has agreed to his first senior managerial role with Slovak champions Slovan Bratislava. He faces high expectations to extend their record eight consecutive league titles and guide the club through Champions League qualification. Touré spent seven years honing his coaching skills as an assistant and academy coach across Europe and alongside Roberto Mancini with Saudi Arabia. He and brother Kolo have also campaigned for greater representation of Black managers. After a near miss at Belgian side Daring Brussels last year, Touré is now ready to lead at the top level.
