BBNaija S9: Biggie cancels Custodian challenge and HOH ballot, reinstates Immunity for Head of House The producers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 have announced some major rule changes, including as the elimination of the HOH ballot and the Custodian Challenge. These updates were given by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during Sunday’s live broadcast. In order to add fresh twists to the season, the Custodian Challenge and Head of House (HOH) ballot were first implemented. In addition to being immune from eviction themselves, custodians had the authority to affect HOH ballots and evictions. These features have since been eliminated, though. Eyes Of Lagos reports, The position of Head of House has been reinstated with immunity in reaction to these modifications. However, the HOH’s former “save and replace” authority has been deleted. Furthermore, roommates won’t be able to cast ballots. Under the revised rules, housemates are now responsible for nominating pairs for eviction. The final decision on which pairs are evicted will be determined by viewer votes.
