NYSC Corps Member Kills Father Over Business Dispute in Abuja

A 53-year-old electrical dealer, Adimike Godwin, was fatally stabbed at his home in Guzape, Abuja, after an alleged argument with his son, who is serving in the NYSC. Sources say the dispute began when the son returned from a club and accused his father of unfair financial treatment and mismanagement of business funds. The confrontation escalated, and the son reportedly stabbed his father three times. The FCT Police Command has arrested the suspect along with four others, and the victim’s wife has been invited for questioning. The Electrical Dealers Association secured the late businessman’s shops and warehouses to prevent looting. Investigations are ongoing as the public is urged to share any relevant information.
