How the Holy Spirit Quickens Us Through God’s Word

Psalm 119:25 asks God to quicken us according to His word. The Holy Spirit brings life to believers, not only through the promise of resurrection but also through daily guidance, wisdom, courage and fresh ideas. A quickening may come as a prompting to act in faith, speak truth in a difficult moment or pursue an inspired idea. When that happens, respond with faith rather than hesitation. To be quickened is to experience God’s Word as living and active. It can strengthen faith, replace fear with hope, shape our desires and help us grow into the mind of Christ.
