Arteta Gives Update on Saka, Rice, Timber and Saliba Before Man City Community Shield Clash

Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi could be available for Arsenal’s Community Shield clash with Manchester City after returning to training. The Arsenal manager said the trio have looked sharp in recent sessions and will be assessed again before Sunday’s match. He added that the squad has returned in good condition following the summer break. However, defenders Jurrien Timber and William Saliba are not expected to be ready. Arteta said Timber is progressing well but still needs a few more weeks, while Saliba’s injury will require a longer recovery period.
