Blessing CEO Remanded Over N69m Fraud Charge, Vows to Return Stronger

Blessing CEO Remanded Over N69m Fraud Charge, Vows to Return Stronger — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Relationship coach and influencer Blessing CEO was re-arraigned by the EFCC in Lagos on June 9 on a two-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing N69,150,000. She had earlier faced a similar two-count charge for N36 million in May and was granted N10 million bail. In an Instagram post, she said she now faces three separate EFCC charges: the N36 million tenancy dispute, the N69 million tenancy dispute and allegations over a disputed N13 million donation labeled as a “cancer drama.” She pleaded not guilty to all counts and has been remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre pending bail. This marks her second time in custody, having spent 26 days with the EFCC in 2022 over cyberbullying and alleged defamation. She asked her followers for prayers, promised to emerge stronger and joked about turning the ordeal into a breakthrough.
