The Greatest Commandment: Loving God Wholeheartedly

Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul and mind. This love is the foundation of a life that truly pleases Him. Christianity is more than religious routines, service or rule-keeping. Prayer, worship, Bible study and ministry gain deeper meaning when they flow from a sincere relationship with God. As love for God becomes central, it can shape our priorities, relationships, worship and obedience. Matthew 22:37–38 reminds believers that this is the first and greatest commandment.
