What I’d Say to President Tinubu on Behalf of Nigerians
If I ever met President Tinubu face to face, I would say Nigerians are tired. We are not lazy or unwilling to work. We wake each day worrying about food, rent, school fees, and safety. We need leadership with real compassion, not just speeches. Security must be the top priority. A nation cannot progress when citizens fear traveling, farming, or sleeping at night. Kidnappings are too common and many feel unprotected. Practical economic relief is also essential. When hunger spikes, theory matters less than survival. Support for small businesses, farmers, and families must reach the ground. Corruption must be fought consistently, regardless of tribe, party, or connections. Leaders need honest advisors, not yes-men. Above all, Nigerians want genuine hope built on real progress in electricity, jobs, security, education, and justice. Our country has enormous potential, and our resilience should not be taken for granted.
