1 / 4

Israel DMW, Davido’s logistics manager, has publicly thanked everyone who supported him at his father’s burial in Ekpoma, Edo State. The weekend ceremony drew fans and fellow artistes, including Davido and members of 30BG, who joined the procession to Benin City. Israel shared photos and video clips from the event and prayed that God would bless all those in attendance. Earlier this year, several Nigerian celebrities suffered similar losses. Actress Seilat, musician Mofe Duncan, filmmaker Chinney Love, actors Timini Egbuson and Dakore Akande, comedian Alibaba and BBNaija star Liquorose have all mourned the passing of beloved parents in 2026.

In situations like this, the best support is checking in on the family privately rather than just showing up for a photo moment.
