Prophet Genesis Urges Tinubu, Security Chiefs to Address Osun Election Violence

Prophet Oladele Israel Ogundipe, known as Prophet Genesis, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and security chiefs to intervene over reported political violence in Osogbo, Esa Oke and nearby communities ahead of the August 15 Osun governorship election. He condemned killings and attacks allegedly linked to political activities, saying no ambition or election is worth the life of any citizen. He warned those involved in violence that they would be held accountable for their actions. The cleric urged the police and other security agencies to restore order, restrain political thugs and protect residents before, during and after the election. He also called for peace, unity and stability in Osun State and across Nigeria.
