The family remains uncertain about the exact cause of death, as reports range from snake bite to tetanus. General Abubakar was abducted alongside his wife on May 30 on the Matazu-Katsina Road. His body was released by his captors, but his wife is still in captivity. The family is calling for urgent action to free her and hold the kidnappers accountable.
