Nigerian Mum in South Africa Confronts Neighbour Over Attempted Abduction of Her 10-Year-Old

A Nigerian mother living in South Africa challenged her neighbour after he allegedly tried to pull her 10-year-old daughter into his flat. The girl told her mother it was not the first time he had harassed her. Instead of apologising, the man reportedly said, “You are Nigerian, I am South African, I can do whatever I want here.” He gave conflicting ages, first claiming to be 23 and later 28, then admitted targeting the child, commenting on her appearance and insisting she was old enough to choose for herself. The mother warned she would involve the police immediately if any further harassment occurs.
