Minister Nyesom Wike presented land allocation documents to the FCT Council of Chiefs in Abuja. He announced a full waiver of all statutory fees on these titles, acting on President Tinubu’s instruction. Wike acknowledged the historical presence of indigenous communities in the FCT and commended the chiefs for delivering the most peaceful area council elections to date. He also pledged utility vehicles to support their traditional duties. The minister highlighted key infrastructure projects due for commissioning in June, including the Airport–Kuje road dualization, the Bwari–Zuba link road, and the “Arab Road” network. The Ona of Abaji thanked the president and minister and pledged the council’s continued support.
