A woman named Erdoo Nancy has been arrested for allegedly killing her co-wife’s daughter in Ankyoor community, Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State. Eyewitnesses report the incident occurred along Makurdi Road, opposite YUA Guest House. Local youths restrained the suspect and handed her over to the Aliade Division of the Nigeria Police Force. Preliminary accounts suggest the attack happened while the child’s mother was away. The motive remains unclear. The Benue State Police Command has not yet issued an official statement on this case.
