Spotify Releases Asake’s ‘M$NEY’ Concert Film After London Live Debut
Spotify has released the concert film of Asake’s acclaimed M$NEY live performance exclusively on its platform. The film captures his one-night-only show at the historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, where he performed songs from the album backed by a live orchestra, choir and band. The event had about 2,000 invited guests and included four unreleased songs. Spotify said the project also marks its first full-length live album performance, with an audio-only version to follow. The video will remain exclusive to the platform when it is released. Asake said the performance reflected the themes of gratitude, growth, spirituality and ambition behind M$NEY. The album has already topped streaming charts in more than 19 countries and helped push him among the world’s top digital artistes.
