INEC Hands Out Certificates of Return to June 20 Bye-Election Winners Across Five States
The Independent National Electoral Commission has presented Certificates of Return to successful candidates from the June 20 bye-elections in Rivers, Enugu, Nasarawa, Ondo and Kano states. Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu, Supervising National Commissioner for Rivers, led the ceremony on behalf of the INEC Chairman. She congratulated the winners and urged them to serve their constituents with integrity and dedication. INEC also announced plans to present certificates to the victor of the Zuru State Constituency election in Kebbi and the winner of the Ekiti governorship poll. The commission reaffirmed its commitment to credible elections and smooth democratic processes nationwide.
