Groom Arrested After Allegedly Shooting Friend at Bachelor Party
A 22-year-old groom has been arrested after allegedly shooting his friend during a bachelor party at an Airbnb in Oklahoma. According to a statement from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, officers were called to the scene at about 1 a.m. on April 4. They found 21-year-old Braden Uhlmann suffering from a gunshot wound. The groom, Nolan Dain Engel, told investigators he fired a single shot at a shadow outside the cabin before going out to check. Uhlmann was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. Evidence at the scene reportedly matched Engel’s account. He now faces charges of second-degree murder.
