Davido Says He Is Stepping Back From Nigerian Politics After Osun Election

Afrobeats star Davido says he no longer wants to be involved in Nigerian politics after supporting his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, during the Osun State governorship election. In a post on X, Davido said he stood by his family without asking anyone to defend or support him. He described the backlash he received as ruthless and disgusting. The singer said he had done his part for his family and believes Nigerian politics is evil. He added that he does not want to be part of it until the country improves.
