Ogun Police Rescue Five Gateway Polytechnic Students
Five students abducted from Gateway Polytechnic in Sapade were rescued by the Ogun State Police Command. Officers at Ipara Division received a distress call on Monday. They discovered an abandoned ash-coloured Toyota with bullet holes, blood stains and personal items inside. The Anti-Kidnapping Unit, SWAT and other response teams were deployed. All five victims were freed on April 28 and taken for medical attention after harsh conditions in captivity. The Commissioner of Police urged residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to security agencies.
