Mangut Delighted as Nasarawa United End Winless Run with 3-0 Win

Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut praised his team after they dominated Warri Wolves 3-0 in Lafia. The victory snapped a three-match winless streak in the NPFL. Chimezie Victor, Ngei Oluka-Efor and Habibu Alakija all found the net in a convincing home display. Mangut admitted it was a relief but stressed there is still much to do with only three games left this season. He lauded his players’ resilience despite empty stands and vowed they would fight to the end. Next up for the Solid Miners is an away clash with title contenders Shooting Stars in Ibadan.

How did Nasarawa United change tactics to break their three-match winless run so convincingly in that 3-0 win?

You're right, they looked more organised defensively and moved the ball faster, that sharper pressing really paid off.

Think they credit tactics too much; perhaps improved finishing and team spirit played bigger roles than mere formation tweak.

It's interesting Mangut praised the dominance, but could Warri Wolves' struggles have played a bigger role in that 3-0 result?

I'm not convinced a single win erases the concerns from the earlier games. Consistency should be the real takeaway here.

They should focus on maintaining solid defense and clinical finishing in their next matches to build on this confidence boost.
