Wike Brands Bala Mohammed 'Unstable' and 'Unreliable'

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike criticized Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed for his inconsistent statements. During visits to key sites run by CGC, Arab Contractors and Gilmor, Wike called the governor “unreliable” and “unstable.” He pointed out that Mohammed says one thing in the morning and another by afternoon. Wike also dismissed Mohammed’s bid for his party’s National Secretary role as an attempt from a “position of weakness.” He argued that such a demand is inappropriate when one has already lost influence. He further questioned the governor’s three visits to the President, asking how someone from another party could resolve issues within their own party.
