Ondo Poultry Farm Attack: Gunmen Kill Mother and Daughter, Two Rescued

Gunmen stormed a poultry farm in Igushi via Ala, Akure North Local Government Area in Ondo State on Thursday. They killed the farm owner and her daughter. The attackers also abducted other staff members. DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo State, confirmed the incident on Friday. He said a swift operation rescued two victims alive and praised the coordinated effort. Jimoh condemned the brutal attack and expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life. He urged residents to stay vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by providing timely information. The police assured the public that measures are in place to secure lives and property. Efforts to apprehend the perpetrators are ongoing.
