NDLEA Busts Two Togo Trucks Carrying Over 1.5 Million Tramadol Pills

In a major raid, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency intercepted two trucks smuggling more than 1.5 million tramadol 250mg pills. The drugs were hidden in false compartments reinforced with thick iron sheets. This breakthrough follows last week’s seizure of a truck loaded with 558,900 tramadol pills buried under a false bottom. Both vehicles came from Togo through Benin Republic into Lagos. Officials say blocking these shipments delivers a serious blow to drug cartels.
