CAF Official Hails NFF’s New Players’ Hostel and Training Pitches in Abuja
Acting CAF General Secretary Samson Adamu toured the NFF-FIFA players’ hostel and training pitches at Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja. He praised the scale and quality of the infrastructure, calling it a legacy investment that will shape the future of Nigerian football. Adamu expressed pride as a Nigerian, noting the facility could produce the next generation of stars like Jay-Jay Okocha. He also thanked the NFF and government for their warm hospitality during his working visit ahead of upcoming CAF events in the country. NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau confirmed the project remains on schedule for completion in nine months. He highlighted that the artificial pitch is already 80% complete and emphasised regular inspections to ensure timely delivery.
