World Press Freedom Day: Uhara Urges Stronger Protection and Support for Journalists

On World Press Freedom Day, Comrade Edwin Uhara—a UN-trained negotiator and former member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council—called for greater support for media workers. He warned that self-censorship has climbed by over 60 percent due to fear of reprisals, online abuse, judicial intimidation and economic pressures.
