Tiwa Savage Celebrates Son’s 11th Birthday, Reflects on God’s Love

Tiwa Savage Celebrates Son’s 11th Birthday, Reflects on God’s Love — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Award-winning singer Tiwa Savage shared photos from her son Jamal’s 11th birthday with friends. She wrote that motherhood has taught her more about God’s love than she ever imagined. She worries for him, celebrates him, protects him, forgives him and would even give her life for him. Describing Jamal as her greatest blessing, answered prayer and best friend, she reflected that her deep love for him is a glimpse of the love God has for all of us. Earlier this year she won a Mother of the Year award after arranging for Jamal to meet his favourite streamer. Last year she gifted him an iPhone for his 10th birthday, warning him about social media use. A day before this celebration, she also shared her frustration over visa issues that almost derailed his plans and revealed the struggles she faces as a single mother working hard to provide.

Maybe she could involve Jamal in gratitude journaling to nurture his faith and help him reflect on God's love daily.
