Experiencing Ongoing Staph Symptoms Abroad—Need Advice

In 2018, I tested positive for staph in Nigeria with an MCS test. I was showing classic staphylococcus symptoms. After moving abroad, my condition worsened. A repeat test here showed no infection, and the doctor assured me I was clear. Still, I didn’t feel right. I tried self-medication for almost two years. Recently, I saw a different doctor who ran every test. Again, nothing showed up. Yet I still feel heat in my scrotum and suffer brain fog at work. I’m at a loss and deeply worried. Has anyone faced a similar issue or can suggest where I should go from here?

Have you tried tracking daily symptom changes alongside diet and stress levels since your move abroad?

That's a solid idea—monitoring symptoms, diet and stress together could reveal patterns you missed.

Fair point, tracking diet and stress could shed light—though I worry obsessing over data might add more pressure.

It's odd the test was clean despite persistent symptoms, suggesting something else might be at play here.

I wouldn't jump straight to rare conditions before ruling out common issues like skin irritation or muscle strain first.

Consider keeping a symptom and treatment diary, noting any new products or routines abroad to spot patterns over time.
