Dremo Explains Leaving DMW: ‘They Focused Only on Davido’

Rapper Dremo has opened up about his decision to leave Davido Music Worldwide in a recent interview on Echo Room. He said the label’s management focused more on its founder, Davido, limiting support for other signees. Collaboration among artists was rare, and he never worked with fellow rapper Idowest under the imprint. Dremo added that the label never released a collective album and functioned more like a platform than a structured system. He said the financial support fell short of his expectations, so he has chosen to remain independent moving forward.
