Start From Where You Are: Daily Devotional for June 25, 2026

DATE: Thursday, June 25, 2026 THEME: Start From Where You Are MEMORY VERSE: “For who hath despised the day of small things?” (Zechariah 4:10) Jesus met the Samaritan woman with nothing but a single conversation, yet it sparked a citywide revival. You don’t need perfect training or all the resources before obeying God’s call. Remember Moses, who felt unqualified, and David, the youngest shepherd chosen as king. God equips those He calls, not the other way around. When He commissions you, step out in faith. Don’t despise little beginnings. Begin with what you have today, remain faithful, and trust Him to supply every need as you fulfill your divine assignment. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalms 112–118

It seems too optimistic to rely on one conversation for a major change, especially in modern life complexities.

I'm not convinced that lack of perfect training is the biggest barrier; sometimes deeper study yields more lasting growth.

Try setting aside five minutes each morning to reflect on one verse and plan a simple action in response.
