Werder Bremen head coach Daniel Thioune says Victor Boniface’s place in the squad for Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Augsburg remains up in the air. The Nigerian forward, on loan at Bremen, has battled a persistent knee injury that kept him out for months. He made the bench in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Stuttgart but did not feature.
