West Ham Owner David Sullivan Resigns Amid Allegations of Exploiting Teenage Models
West Ham United joint-chair David Sullivan has stepped down after an investigation by Panorama and The Times revealed claims he paid teenage models for sex in the 1990s. The 77-year-old denies the allegations and plans to sue the BBC for defamation. Two women, codenamed “Florence” and “Sacha,” say they were promised modelling work in exchange for sexual favours. Florence recalls being 20 and trying to refuse, while Sacha says Sullivan asked her for a “blow job” during what was billed as a job meeting. Sullivan calls the allegations “defamatory” and insists they are false. The Metropolitan Police have opened an inquiry into historic claims of indecent images and sexual exploitation dating back to the 1980s.
