University Lecturer Flogged by Married Student’s Husband Over Alleged Sexual Harassment
A footage shows a university lecturer pleading for mercy as he is beaten by the husband of a married student who accused him of sexual harassment. The lecturer, who heads History and International Studies at a private university and also teaches at another institution, reportedly withheld a student’s project approval for two years when she refused his advances. The student alerted her husband, and they set a trap after Maghrib prayers. When the lecturer arrived at the meeting point, he was confronted and beaten before being handed over to the police.
