Forensic Clues Help Ogun Police Nab 3 Suspects in Former OGTV Broadcaster’s Murder
Ogun State police have arrested three suspects over the June 21 killing of former OGTV broadcaster Olakitan Oyesiku and her security guard, Pelumi Adetayo, at her home in Owode-Egba. Investigators found forced entry at the residence and discovered the victims in separate parts of the compound. Forensic experts examined a handwritten note and other items from the scene. The missing Lexus RX 330 was recovered through intelligence-led tracking. Police say 22-year-old Sodeinde Olajuwon Philip confessed to planning the attack and recruiting two accomplices, aged 27 and 36. Officers recovered a hammer, cutlass, wooden plank and other items linked to the crime. Investigations are ongoing. The command assures residents of fair treatment for suspects and is compiling evidence for prosecution.
