Have 40 Years of Catholic Prayers Against Corruption and Distress in Nigeria Made a Difference?
For over four decades, Nigerian Catholics have lifted regular prayers against bribery, corruption and national distress. These petitions recur in Sunday and daily masses across every parish. I wonder if God has answered them. Do other churches or the Muslim community hold similar weekly or daily prayers for Nigeria? No Catholic has led our country since 1999.
