12 Killed, 9 Injured in Mass Shooting at Johannesburg Informal Settlement

Twelve people were killed and nine others wounded when more than 10 armed men opened fire at Jumpers informal settlement in Cleveland, Johannesburg. Police say the attackers arrived in a white Toyota Quantum shortly after 8pm and shot residents at multiple locations before fleeing. Officers responding around 11:10pm found eight men and three women dead at the scene. A fourth man later died in hospital, while nine survivors were taken to various medical facilities.
