ASTUC Youth Honours 10 Anambra West Role Models, Promotes Values Campaign

ASTUC Youth has honoured 10 community role models from the 10 communities in Anambra West Local Government Area at an event in Nzam. The honourees were recognised for integrity, service and positive contributions to their communities. The programme also launched a Value Orientation Campaign, the 12 Core Values of an Anambra Citizen Recitation Challenge and other youth-focused initiatives. ASTUC Youth President-General Ken Okoli said young people must help build Anambra’s future by embracing discipline, hard work and responsible citizenship. He said the initiative will continue across the state, with outstanding role models to receive special recognition in 2026. Speakers urged the award recipients to lead by example and encouraged youths to reject social vices, develop their talents and contribute to community development.
