Two APC Senatorial Hopefuls Withdraw from Kebbi Primaries
Two prominent All Progressives Congress aspirants in Kebbi State, Bala Ibn Na’Allah and Sani M. Kabiru, have officially withdrawn from the senatorial primary scheduled for May 18, 2026. Na’Allah communicated his decision in a letter to the APC state chairman in Birnin Kebbi. He said consultations and credible party intelligence guided his choice to step down. The former senator cited his commitment to unity and stability after 14 years of service. He also thanked supporters, especially those who contributed to his nomination process. It remains unclear if other aspirants will follow their lead.
