Man Claims Facebook Woman Disappeared After Receiving ₦17,000 for Food, Medication and Cooking
A man says a woman he met on Facebook stopped replying after he sent her money for food, medication, and a planned visit to cook for him. He said he first sent ₦2,000 after she told him she was hungry, followed by ₦3,000 for ulcer medication. When she offered to visit and cook for him, he said he sent another ₦12,000 for transport and ingredients. He later shared screenshots of their chats and a payment receipt after she became unreachable. The recipient name on the receipt differs from the woman’s profile name, raising questions about whether the account belonged to someone else or whether he may have been dealing with an impersonator.
