Esa Oke Mourns as Owamiran Oba Adeyemi Adediran Passes On
Community sources report that Oba Adeyemi Adediran, the Owamiran of Esa Oke, has passed away after a period of ill health. He had been out of public view in recent days, prompting concern among residents. On Wednesday, the town’s Ogboni leader, Chief Paul Olamiju, imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew. The main market was ordered closed and all social activities suspended until further notice. Indigenes have taken to social media to express their grief and offer condolences. Attempts to reach Chief Olamiju for clarification were unsuccessful.
