Ekiti Polls: Ojudu Urges Voters to Report Irregularities

Ekiti Polls: Ojudu Urges Voters to Report Irregularities

Former presidential adviser Babafemi Ojudu encountered glitches at his Ekiti State polling unit but saw them fixed after he spoke up to electoral officials. He urged every voter to report problems immediately rather than stay silent. He argued that silence allows irregularities to go unchallenged. “Democracy does not thrive on passive citizenship,” he said. He called on Nigerians to ask questions, demand accountability and commend improvements when they occur. Ojudu stressed that active participation must go beyond casting votes. Vigilant citizens are essential to credible elections.
