Nigerian Study Visa Holder Arrested in India with ₦43.8M MDMA

Nigerian Study Visa Holder Arrested in India with ₦43.8M MDMA

In Ambala, the Anti-Narcotics Cell arrested a Nigerian national after recovering 294 grams of MDMA valued at around Rs 30 lakh (approximately ₦43.8 million) from his rented accommodation. The suspect, identified as Mbacha Ikechukwu David, had come to India on a study visa. The operation followed the arrest of two other individuals found with 55 grams of heroin. During their remand, they revealed they bought the drug from the Nigerian residing in Delhi, prompting investigators to set a trap and apprehend him. Authorities have registered a case under the NDPS Act and are probing his network to uncover suppliers and clients. Further investigations aim to dismantle the entire drug supply chain, the police say.
