NSCDC Arrests Three in Kano for Cable Vandalism and Tricycle Theft
Operatives of the NSCDC Kano Command have arrested two men for vandalising and stealing 300 metres of aluminium conductor cables belonging to the Kano Electricity Distribution Company. Adamu Ibrahim (25) and Abba Ado (24) were intercepted in Yunfawa village after allegedly climbing poles to remove the cables. One accomplice remains at large. In a separate operation along the Kofar Waika/Kofar Dawanau dual carriageway, an 18-year-old suspect was arrested for forcefully driving off in a passenger’s tricycle. NSCDC patrol teams rescued the woman on board and detained the suspect. All three will face court charges after investigations conclude.
