Nigerian Striker Chidera Okoh Signs for Botev Plovdiv

Botev Plovdiv have confirmed the signing of 23-year-old Nigerian forward Chidera Michael Okoh ahead of the 2026/27 season. He arrives from Greek side Asteras Aktor after featuring for both their senior team and reserves. Okoh is the club’s seventh summer recruit and will don the No. 9 shirt. He joins a squad already featuring compatriots Samuel Kalu, Chimezie Williams, Ifenna Dorgu and Bryan Hein. The powerful striker began his career with Divine Praise in Nigeria before spells at Slovan Liberec and Mosta. Botev will be hoping he adapts quickly and strengthens their attack in the Bulgarian First League.
