Bandits Storm Yankamaye in Tsanyawa: 3 Killed, Many Wounded

Unknown gunmen attacked Yankamaye community in Tsanyawa Local Government Area of Kano state late Monday. Three residents were killed and several others injured in heavy, commando-style gunfire. The member for Ghari/Tsanyawa Federal Constituency confirmed that three bodies have been recovered. Witnesses said the attackers opened fire without warning, causing many villagers to flee. Injured victims were rushed to nearby hospitals. Residents of Yankamaye and surrounding communities are appealing to security agencies to boost patrols and deploy more personnel to prevent further raids along bush paths from Katsina.
