Keyamo Awards N22bn NAMA HQ Contract to Alleged Fraudster Nasiru Danu

Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo has approved a N21.68 billion contract for the first phase of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency headquarters in Abuja. The award went to NHD Interbiz Projects Ltd, a company linked to Nasiru Haladu Danu, who was once arrested in London over passport and money-laundering allegations. Danu has faced multiple investigations, including an EFCC probe into the alleged diversion of N51 billion from the Nigeria Customs Service. He also won major federal contracts during the previous administration, sparking public outcry over his reputation. Critics say the deal raises questions about due diligence and transparency under President Tinubu’s watch. Both Keyamo and Danu deny any wrongdoing, and anti-graft agencies have so far declined to comment on the latest contract award.
