Is the 2027 Election at Risk? INEC and Judiciary Must Tread Carefully

Many have predicted that the 2027 election may not hold. I’m skeptical of future-tellers, but recent actions by INEC and troubling court rulings point in that direction. Trust in our institutions is eroding. Opposition parties like ADC and NDC claim over thirty million members. If even half of that number takes to the streets, violent protests could erupt. Such unrest would destabilize the government and derail any manipulated electoral process. INEC and the judiciary need to pause these questionable moves. Nigerians are stretched to their limit and won’t tolerate a stolen vote. Our institutions must ensure transparency and fairness to avoid chaos.
