Three FULafia Students Reportedly Kidnapped From Off-Campus Lodge in Lafia
Three 100-level students of the Federal University of Lafia have reportedly been kidnapped from their off-campus lodge in the Bukan Kwato area of Lafia, Nasarawa State. The students were reportedly taken from Sure Leaders Lodge at about 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Police had not issued an official statement as of the time of the report. The university's Students Union Government confirmed the incident and said it was engaging traditional authorities and the university management on security measures. Students have been urged to stay calm, avoid unnecessary movement at odd hours and report suspicious activity.
