Warri Wolves Release Six Players After Pre-Season Loss to Rangers
Warri Wolves coach Hassan Abdallah has released six players after the club's 1-0 pre-season defeat to Rangers in Asaba. Abdallah said the friendly was used to assess players' performances, tactical understanding and ability to fit into the squad. He declined to name those released, saying it could harm their prospects and market value at their parent clubs. With the 2026/27 NPFL season expected to begin in August, the coach said the rebuilding team needs stronger financial and logistical support from the Delta State Government.
